Hi, it’s great to meet you! My name is Devon or Official Guy Reviews and I wanted to let you know a bit about who I am and why I am reviewing things. As a father, husband, average Joe, nerd, tech lover (and addict I may admit) I tend to lean towards taking in a TON of reviews for my day to day purchases to decide which products may receive my hard earned dollars.
What I have discovered over the years, is although technology has made access to these product reviews much easier to uncover and locate, there are far too many fake reviews, corporate spin takes on things that taint and conceal the way a product may come truly come across in our (the consumer) hands. This is where I thought, “Hmm, maybe I can help.”
I am by no means the best spoken, most polished and rehearsed star of a creator. But my goal is to give you an open (often one shot) REAL review of a product without all the glitz and glamour of professional lighting, models or bias and how it has earned or NOT earned the value i’ve had to shell out for it.
As for which products get chosen for review, I will always lean towards the items I have purchased (whether tech, electronic, parenting tools, diet products etc.) that I have used long enough that I feel I can give an honest opinion on.
I grew up and currently reside in Ontario, Canada and have had a life long addiction to technology, electronics, video games and a strong tendancy to adopt new things, far too early… For better or for worse…
